Develops and applies advanced purchasing concepts and techniques. Using advanced concepts, is responsible for custom component development, supplier evaluation/ selection and development, reducing overall acquisition costs. Responsible for enhancing the new product development interface between engineering, manufacturing and procurement.
Performs limited electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical production assembly and subassembly operations of a repetitive nature to build and assemble routine units such as printed circuit boards, modules, chassis drawers, cable harnesses, and simple electronic and mechanical subassemblies.
Develops and conducts all phases of IT general controls, financial and operational audits, and risk assessments. Administers the testing and documentation of financial and computer system records for information integrity and transaction accuracy. Analogic has been at the forefront of developments in computed tomography equipment technology from the introduction of the first single-slice CT system in 1975 to today’s multi-slice volumetric CT scanners, able to image the entire heart between beats, in a single rotation. - The primary role of this position is to support software development for data correction and image reconstruction algorithms for medical CT scanners.
