We are looking for an experienced electrical engineer to develop our state-of-the-art high power gradient amplifiers for use in the MRI systems. The selected candidate will be part of a talented team and will have ownership to various sections of the amplifier ranging from the power stage, power supply, controller, distribution, and filtering circuit.

We are looking for candidate with the following experience:

• Close-loop power amplification design, multi-phase control, and embedded devices including FPGA, EPLD and firmware (TI C2000 preferred)
• Circuit modeling and simulation including power and thermal analysis
• Power conversion of AC/DC, DC/AC, Linear and Switching Supplies, Power Factor Correction (PFC), Series Resonant Circuits, and Synchronization
• Power distribution, fault protection and noise compensation
• PCB layout - high-voltage and high-power SMPS with high rate of changes
• Test and production methods for high power products
• Compliance – IEC 60601-1 Ed3.1, especially including safety and EMI

Required Skills:

• Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering, advanced degree a plus
• 7-10 years of power supply design and development highly desirable
• Hands-on assembling & test in engineering lab
• Modeling and simulation using PSPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar computer-based tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• US Citizenship Required
