Position Summary

The Service and Specialty Manufacturing Manager manages the day to day activity of the RF and Gradient power supply Repair Center and Pilot Production operations for the MRI business unit. 

Responsibilities

  • Ensures all repair services and manufactured products meet Analogic, Regulatory and Customer quality standards and specifications.
  • Works closely with quality, planning, materials and logistics to meet repair and production goals.
  • Interacts frequently with Analogic customers to provide status updates and scorecard reviews.
  • Oversees fault analysis and repairs of warranty and non-warranty units returned from the field.
  • Plans and directs the assembly and test of complex systems and subsystems.
  • Prepares field return analyses, capital appropriation recommendations, inventory and expense requirements, department budgets, capacity planning, along with production and status reports.
  • Implements and sustains continuous improvement programs including Lean / 6Sigma and 6S programs.
  • Develops, maintains, and analyzes KPIs, using data driven decisions to cultivate an action-biased team focused on performance, productivity, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Operations Management.
  • Minimum 8 years of related Manufacturing experience. Repair center experience a plus.
  • Experience in a customer facing role.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and applying Lean manufacturing tools & principles.
  • MRP / ERP experience required. SAP experience a plus.
