Analogic is looking for an experienced Project Manager to work with our growing Security Systems Field Service and Customer Support team! As a project manager you will lead multiple complex CT installation and upgrade projects at airports and potentially medical facilities within the US.  The position could offer the opportunity to grow into a Project Team Supervisor role.



  • Provides technical subject matter expertise in areas including project management, project scope definition, risk identification, resource allocation, and facilitation.
  • Maintains control of schedule, cost, safety, quality, and customer expectations / satisfaction at all times.
  • Presents to management and/or customers on project updates, project cycle, and expected results.
  • Secure and manage sub-contractorrelationships throughout the installation. Ensures projects are closed on time and in scope. 


Job Description – Details:

  • Development and maintenance of an integrated master schedule (IMS) for all projects.
    • Projects may consist of:
      • Equipment installation, relocation or removal
      • Software updates
      • Equipment repair (not primary responsibility)
      • Equipment upgrade
    • Focused project management and execution ensuring internal resources are properly allocated to meet various project deadlines. Projects will occur simultaneously, and schedules will shift continuously. Constant attention will be required to the IMS which will be published to the organization.
    • Develop and maintain a stream of data back into the organization capturing critical performance metrics of project phases. These metrics will ensure the Engineering team has the data needed to drive continuous improvement into product design.
  • Equipment installation and commissioning
    • Shipping: track shipping status of all equipment for the duration of the project working with logistics team and partners/subcontractors.
    • Rigging: Ensure the rigging sub-contractor is properly prepared for all project work ahead of project execution. All material, labor and equipment for rigging efforts shall be provided by others. Ensure site clean-up scope is covered by the rigging contractor and that it is completed following equipment positioning to the airport’s satisfaction.
    • Power up and installation: Analogic shall provide expert labor and support to conduct all equipment power-up.
  • Equipment Testing and Commissioning (Independent Verification and Validation or IV&V)
    • Upon completion of site installation and commissioning, the service project manager shall conduct a test readiness review (TRR) of the equipment. Analogic shall provide a test plan along with test articles required to conduct the test however the site lead is encouraged to coordinate independently with the IV&V contractor to establish a test plan. The Service Project Manager shall ensure that a TRR report is completed outlining findings along with his/her declaration of readiness for integrated site acceptance (iSAT). Analogic shall provide labor support sufficient to support the Service Project Manager for the duration of all testing efforts.
    • The Service Project Manager shall monitor iSAT efforts in the event there are issues found during testing. iSAT testing along with supply of all test articles shall be provided by others. iSAT efforts for this technology typically last 2 business days, 10 hours per day.
  • Methodology - Understanding of Project Management Institute's (PMI) methodology and key knowledge areas; Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Communications, Risk Management and common tools for implementation.
  • Communication/Coordination - Responsible for communication and status reporting to project staff and customer or Analogic Site Manager.  Responsible for work plan, managing project resources, duty assignment, responsibilities, scope of authority and provides technical advice and problem resolution to all aspects of project.
  • Fiscal - Responsible for tracking projects expenditures and installation progress through reviews of status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules of plans as required. Maintains full financial accountability to project; requires ability to forecast financial trends across project.
  • Quality - Maintain full accountability to project quality; conducting inspections of worksite, ensuring workmanship meets Analogic quality standards and expectations.
  • Customer Service - Provide responsive, concise, and professional support to all customers and other personnel and ensures timely follow-up on all customer concerns and issues.  


 Key Skills/Requirements:

  • Familiarity with DHS/TSA programs and procurements required
  • 5 years’ experience in aviation security required
  • Familiarity with a matrix organization and able to work effectively with functional managers and product line managers to properly allocate functional resources
  • Comfortable speaking to customers in a dynamic and, occasionally high-pressure environment
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred however will consider associates degree or trade certifications


  • PMI PMP (Project Management Institute, Project Management Professional) certification preferred or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of employment in the position.  
  • Knowledge of software applications: Jira, Jama, Agile, SAP, MS Project and SharePoint.
  • 3-5 Years Project Management - security industry installation.  TSA customer experience a plus.


  • Familiarity with medical device manufacturing and deployment a plus
  • Familiarity with FDA requirements of medical devices is a plus
  • Travel Required: Up to 40% Domestic
