    Analogic is looking for a highly motivated Principle Software Engineer to be part of a team designing industry leading technology for Medical CT scanners. The selected candidate will design, implement and test, in collaboration with hardware engineers, software for controlling complex systems. The selected candidate will be a creative self starter capable of executing complex tasks on time with minimal supervision.  The selected candidate must have strong attention to detail and be able to work in a fast paced environment.



    • Responsible for any/all parts of Software Development Life Cycle including development of original concepts, planning, requirements analysis, design, development, integration, verification, release, maintenance
    • Responsible for major portions of or complete software development projects
    • Works with stakeholders to define requirements
    • Generates and reviews written system design and specifications
    • Generates and reviews code to satisfy design requirements
    • Generates and executes software verification procedures, including documenting results
    • Generates SW releases
    • Responsible for working within time and dollar budgets
    • Performs other duties as required


    • BS in CS or greater
    • 12+ years in C and C++
    • Strong Object Oriented Design skills a must
    • Multithreading, IPC (TCP sockets, Shared Memory)
    • Experience working on linux environment.
    • Must have ability to interface with vendors, customers, engineers and other stakeholders
    • Excellent written and verbal communication is essential
    • Must have ability to "own" projects
    • Mentor junior level engineers
    • Experience with developing high level control software for complex electro-mechanical systems is essential.
    • AccuRev, JIRA, Jama Connect a plus
    • Experience with Boost Libraries
    • CAN Bus experience a plus
    • Experience with medical devices and/or working in a regulated environment a plus
    • Medical imaging experience, radiology workflow experience a plus
