  • Overview

    Analogic is looking for a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to be part of a team designing industry leading technology for Medical CT Scanners. The selected candidate will design, implement and test, in collaboration with hardware engineers, software for controlling complex systems. The selected candidate will be a creative self-starter capable of executing complex tasks on time with minimal supervision.  The selected candidate must have strong attention to detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.    

    Responsibilities

    • Demonstrated hands-on proficiency in Windows .NET 4.0
    • Demonstrated hands-on proficiency in WCF, .net Remoting, and TCP sockets
    • Demonstrated hands-on proficiency in C#
    • Experience in object-oriented design methodology with C#
    • Experience with MS Visual Studio 2017 or higher
    • Experience in object-oriented design methodology with C++ strongly preferred
    • Working knowledge of Linux and/or bash shell
    • Experience with system level integration and troubleshooting
    • Experience in all phases of software development including architecture, design, implementation, and verification
    • Experience with client server application development
    • Experience developing multithreaded applications
    • Experience with Medical Device development a plus

    Desired skills

    • Ability to write software requirements and test cases
    • Ability to interact with customers
    • Requirements management experience, JAMA a plus
    • Software Configuration Management experience, Accurev a plus

    Qualifications

    Candidate must have 5 or more years of technical experience in software development. BS or higher in Computer Science or Software Engineering is required.
