Plans, organizes and manages product, applications and marketing activities to meet product line revenue and profit objectives. Organizes sales team structure to maximize available talent and resources. Interfaces with Operations to drive cross-functional improvement and initiatives. Implements and oversees marketing program to drive growth. Develops and maintains existing and new sales opportunities and manages the sales channel.
Manages the applications and order management teams to optimize business practices and drive continued revenue growth.
Works with Sales and Engineering teams to drive Voice of Customer (VOC) initiatives to direct product roadmap and strategic growth plans.
Initiates and maintains contact with potential and existing OEMs and sales channel partners to increase sales, develop mind-share, and foster “Copley Champions” throughout their respective organizations.
Defines quarterly objectives, standardizes business reporting and solidifies a vision for our infrastructure.
Ensures sales teams and senior management have appropriate reporting, dashboards and analytics with high quality data.
Provides product-line forecasting to Operations.
Works closely with Operations to ensure customer expectations are met and identify and solve any issues that may prevent meeting those expectations.
Develops marketing plan and program to maximize Copley’s online presence to drive web traffic and influence potential customers.
Proactively solves problems for business advancement and provides thought leadership on product and sales operational excellence.
Develops and implements training programs for customers and sales channel partners as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
10+ years of professional experience in a high-tech company, with experience in Sales Operations and Strategy.
Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages and presentations.
Strong interpersonal and team-building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with senior executives.
Strong analytical skills and ability to derive insights.
Knowledge base of the Motion Control market, factors that drive growth, and competitive landscape.
