  • Overview

    Opportunity to join fast-paced team working to describe high-level imaging and detection technology used in Aviation Security and Medical CT scanners and Rapid DNA analysis systems. Develop content for manufacturing, field, customer support and marketing.

    Responsibilities

    • Can create clear, concise technical documentation.
    • Able to communicate across departments to obtain information from technical subject experts including engineers, factory leads, and field personnel.
    • Must have demonstrated ability (per references) to take direction, plan efficient workflows, and work to deadline with minimal supervision.
    • Strong aptitude with technology and software. Ability to capture process details.
    • Ability to maintain continuity to content management guidelines.
    • Able to work on site, Boston, North (Rt. 128)

    Qualifications

    Skills:

    • Proficient in MS Word and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, AI)
    • Skills and experience with photography, screen capture, photo editing
    • Able to work in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
    • Strong writing and communication skills

    Other ideal experience:

    • Prior Security or Medical Imaging projects
    • Adobe FrameMaker
    • Video recording and editing
    • Use of CAD design tools (SolidWorks, Composer)
    • Familiarity with Linux
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and/or ability to read schematics
    • Familiarity with collaboration tools (JIRA, JAMA, MS Teams)
    • Familiarity with CT technology and terms

     

    Experience / Education:

    • Engineering or Writing/Communications studies or equivalent work experience.
    • Portfolio, ideally including procedures, manuals, training files, or other technical content showing graphics and text.
