  • Overview

    Designs, implements and maintains Quality Assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into finished or partially finished products.  Responsible for planning, implementing, and managing processes in compliance with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements for worldwide distribution.  


    • Designs methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment, and products.
    • Performs analysis of product data to identify trends and recommends updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary. Investigates issues and then recommends disposition including documented Root Cause/Corrective Actions to prevent reoocurance. 
    • Drives Continuous Improvement in operational effectiveness and overall product quality compliance.
    • Formulates or assists in formulating quality assurance procedures including key characteristics plans for supplied components, standards, and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluating assigned products utilizing SAP, Agile, and other available tools.
    • Collaborates with engineering and operations employees to ensure smooth transfer to production of new products.
    • Guides design maintenance review (ECOs and Deviations) in accordance with the Corporate Quality Management System (QMS).
    • Facilitates Non-Conformances through the MRB process, driving permanent corrective actions.
    • Performs analysis of Customer Complaints, First Pass Yields, Non-Conforming Material, and other data as needed to drive Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) design/process improvements.
    • Ensures timely resolution of supplier, customer, and third party CAPA improvements.
    • Actively participates in internal and external audits, management reviews, and design reviews.
    • Provides technical support and guidance to production and inspection employees.
    • Facilitates and promotes feedback of production quality issues for Continuous Improvement.


    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of previous professional experience.
    • Strong computer skills using SAP, Agile, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and statistical analysis tools.
    • Understanding of precision measurement tools and geometric dimensioning/tolerancing.
    • 6 Sigma Green Belt minimum, Black Belt highly desired.



    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Advanced Root Cause/Corrective Action and Continuous Improvement skills.
