The person in this role will support the financial planning process for their assigned areas including budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans. The person in this role will ensure that financial performance against plan and forecast is measured clearly and correctly.
The Financial Analyst will support the financial planning process for assigned areas, including P&L planning, department expense planning, balance sheet objectives, and specific business metrics.
The Financial Analyst will create and distribute the financial reporting that is necessary to measure the financial results and guide future business decisions for their assigned areas. This includes monthly and quarterly financial packages that track trends and performance of sales, costs, expenses, and other critical metrics
The Financial Analyst will provide financial analysis and decision support, as necessary, to their assigned internal customers. This support should include proactively scanning the market and our own data for opportunities to improve the business.
Process Improvement & Presentation
The Financial Analyst will lead and/or participate in the design of new processes to improve the quality and functionality of financial reporting. The Financial Analyst will present financial results and financial plans to various audiences including; the Analogic Finance Team, business unit leadership, and Senior Management.
Work on specific unique projects that might call for complex financial modeling, or project management skills.
Teamwork and Training
The person in this role should work well with the various team members in the department and the broader Analogic community. This role will provide cross-functional support which will require close coordination with all domestic and global Analogic sites.
BA/BS degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting, and five or more years of related experience.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and SAP are a plus.
