Under minimal supervision, prepares meals and assists with the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
Prepares daily hot meals, soups and daily specials.
Sets up hot food and deli areas for lunch service.
Keeps food line well supplied with food during service hours.
Observes which food items are preferred.
Maintains high standard of sanitation.
Monitors portion control.
Knowledge of operating cash register.
Assists manager with ordering as necessary.
Maintains high standard of sanitation between and after meals.
Assists with preparation and service of functions.
Reports malfunctions of equipment immediately to superior.
Watches portion control.
Carefully stores all food items at end of meal services.
Receives and stores deliveries.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
High school education or equivalent and 2 or more years of related experience.
