To support this effort, we are looking for an experienced HR generalist ready to take the next step in their career.

    Responsibilities

    HR AND THE ROLE

    This is very much a hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support.  Our environment can be dynamic as we continue to shape HR to meet our robust business needs while also providing seamless, efficient HR processes.

     

    The focus on this position is to provide full service HR support to assigned client groups including staffing/recruiting, performance management, productive employee relations, compensation and other HR programs, projects and initiatives.

     

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    Collaborate with hiring manager to perform full cycle recruitment efforts including cost-efficient sourcing initiatives, screening resumes, scheduling and participating in the interview and decision-making process. Conduct reference checks and compensation analysis for salary recommendation and create robust on-boarding experience.

     

    Provide a high level of human resources guidance that is a consistent interpretation and implementation of policies, procedures and company practices with a firm understanding of employment law. Ensure a balance between employee needs and organizational goals when providing advice and guidance to both supervisors and employees in investigating/resolving work-related issues and develop best possible solutions.

     

    Drives the salary administration process for assigned client group(s).  Ensures validity of compensation decisions via data analysis, and recommends subsequent re-classifications, salary increases, grade changes and/or promotions and develops and updates job descriptions and recommends appropriate actions. 

     

    Conduct exit interviews and off-boarding of separating employees. Prepares for unemployment claims and represents company’s interest. 

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
    In addition to bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus five or more years of progressive experience in an HR role, the following experience and competencies are required for success:

    • Experience in multiple HR disciplines to include staffing and recruiting, compensation, performance management, employee relations, coaching and benefits.
    • Excel in developing partnerships and strong desire to support collaborative work environments
    • Experience with and working knowledge of HR laws, practices, policies and models.
    • Must demonstrate diplomacy and tact while interacting with all levels within and outside the
    • organization.
    • Must be able to perform job duties independently, exercising good judgement and professionalism.
    • Self-starter and comfortable at both an individual contributor level as well as supporting the
    • wider HR team.
    • Able to deal with complexity and react quickly within a changing environment.
    • Chooses to have a constructive perspective on the day to day challenges of HR.
    • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ATS, LMS and HRIS programs.
