    The manufacturing & productivity leader role will be responsible for managing day to day manufacturing operations in the Peabody facility as well as facilitating development and implementation of the company continuous improvement program focused initially on our Peabody manufacturing site.  The position works with key stakeholders to lead projects through structured problem solving to improve systems and drive efficiency.  In addition, significant effort will be applied to re-enforcing the operating philosophy of Total Employee Engagement and fostering employee idea generation. You will also drive the elevation of the lean skill set throughout the population of Analogic, integrate lessons learned from industry and other programs to drive affordability while maximizing performance.


    • Strategy Execution – Execution of strategic initiatives, development of Lean / 6 sigma and 5S programs
    • Change Management – Foster change through visibility; changing the culture of the organization to one that supports continuous improvement, efficiency and profitable growth
    • Metric Development – Develop and maintain optimal, standardized processes related to lean maturity; cultivate an action-biased culture of continuous improvement based on KPI improvement for operations and back office functions
    • Mentoring – Train, Coach and follow-up with all functional teams to ensure improvements are sustaining
    • Tool Development – Help teams identify projects through value stream mapping, data analysis and daily management systems. Keep an ongoing queue of projects focused on meeting productivity goals
    • Technical Expertise – Facilitate and provide technical expertise during Engineering and Operations collaboration efforts related to profitability and manufacturing process standardization strategies
    • Driving Operational Productivity – Coordinate continuous improvement value stream leads to ensure cross-factory knowledge sharing and process, tool and technology standardization
    • Works closely with design engineering and business unit operations to assess customer needs and develops process capabilities required to enable state of the art technologies.
    • Provides Dfx inputs along with direct prototype to pre-production NPI support for emerging products.




    • BS in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations, or business
    • Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience managing manufacturing operations utilizing lean processes in a continuous improvement environment
    • Demonstrated experience with Change Management and Value Stream Mapping. Proven experience with WiP management modeling and Cycle Time Reduction
    • Experience implementing and applying Lean manufacturing tools & principles
    • Extensive 5 S knowledge and proven implementation track record
    • Experience leading executive-level briefings
    • Strong background in continuous improvement focused on operations, engineering, quality, supply chain and product management
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead business and enterprise level collaborations
    • Experience deploying and/or leading new product or process introduction for large and complex systems preferred
    • Prior budget responsibility and Contract Mfg. experience preferred





    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with and positively influence leadership at all levels of the business
    • Excellent communicator; including written, oral and presentation skills
    • Provide direction to multiple operational areas. Can effectively remove roadblocks to productivity success
    • Lean practitioner with proven track record of implementing; visual management/5S, value stream mapping, standard work, metrics boards and standup meetings

    • P & L results oriented. Analysis of performance data to identify business plan variances and develop remediation plans
