    The human resource generalist will report directly to the Global Director of Human Resources and will be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level supporting designated geographic regions. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional area: benefits, staffing, employee relations, training and development, compensation, onboarding, and policy implementation.

    Responsibilities

    • Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government agencies.
    • Conducts exit interviews.
    • Represents the company for any unemployment claims.
    • Interviews, screens and recruits job applicants to fill entry-level, professional job openings.
    • Conduct new-hire orientations to ensure employees gain an understanding of benefits.

     

    • Preparing or updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating.
    • Assist with the administration of health and welfare plans, including retirement plans and ensures accurate recording keeping is maintained.
    • Ensures compliance with USCIS Form 1-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; periodically audits Forms I-9.
    • Distributes and monitors employee performance evaluations and ensures they are done in a timely manner.
    • Works with hiring managers to develop job descriptions.
    • Assist with new employee enrollments and annual updates for benefit plans.
    • Support the organization’s benefit and wellness programs.
    • Administers the credentialing program for all employees that will call on hospitals, doctor’s offices and clinics.
    • Reports, maintains and monitors all FML/STD/LTD case files; follows-up on open cases.
    • Explain human resource policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees.
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required to fulfill job function or as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of experience in human resource generalist role.
    • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
    • Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other human resource programs.
    • Conflict management skills.
    • Candidates for this position must be authorized to work in the United States. No Visa sponsorship will be provided for this position.
