    The Global product strategy manager will lead all aspects of creating and executing on product strategy for bk Ultrasound’s surgical market. BK ultrasound is a market leading intraoperative ultrasound company with a global footprint, providing customers with specialized real-time imaging guidance solutions for neurosurgery, urologic surgery, hepatobiliary surgery and more. Our solutions are tailored to enabling faster, real-time intraoperative imaging for surgical applications and informed by clinical and procedural needs.

    Responsibilities

    The global product manager will be the driver for a segmented clinical application based product strategy, starting with discovery, validation and segmentation of customer clinical unmet needs into a product portfolio. Working cross-functionally across the organization, she/he drives unmet customer needs to specifications for the R&D team, serves and prioritizes features on cross functional product commercialization team and develops and executes on a product launch plan.

     

    • Knowing the customer: Determining and leading customer visits and research to identify market needs and the corresponding product solution opportunities
    • Identifying customer clinical unmet needs and validating and segmenting those to a product portfolio.
    • Serve on product commercialization team across multiple internal and external groups such as engineering, manufacturing, regulatory, clinical, quality, sales, etc. Translating validated clinical needs into specifications for the R&D team
    • Developing and executing a comprehensive strategy and launch plan: developing product positioning, defining marketing messages and collateral, developing sales and physician education programs and training both domestic and international marketing and sales teams
    • Acquiring and analyzing feedback from key opinion leaders, current and potential customers, third party market research and internal stakeholders

    Qualifications

    • Master’s degree preferred
    • 2-5 years of successful related business experience
    • Prior experience in product management
    • Experience with medical/imaging/surgical products
    • Demonstrated record of success working in a team environment
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
