  • Overview

    The BK ULTRASOUND SALES SPECIALIST will report to the Regional Sales Manager and supports the sales team in the San Francisco, CA area.  In this position, the Sales Specialist will assist the current Ultrasound Sales Representative to uncover and expand sales in the Operating Room and Urology Office spaces, assuring the sales goals of the assigned territory are met and customer needs are satisfied.  This opportunity offers a tremendous career path to those willing to learn the OR and capital equipment sales process with opportunity for advancement.

    Responsibilities

    • Support the territory sales team to enable more selling time for the Ultrasound Sales Representative.
    • Respond to customer needs, requirements and opportunities while seeking direction from the BK Sales Representatives.
    • Individual must plan and execute their sales plan to meet assigned goals and objectives.  
    • Must be able to analyze territory market potential and prioritize call patterns accordingly.
    • Assist sales team with the in-service of equipment at customer sites.
    • Covers cases for Sales Representative and provides sales support.
    • Focus on customer satisfaction as a high priority.
    • May assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings.
    • Educates and informs doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of BK Ultrasound equipment.
    • Keeps Regional Sales Manager informed of territory progress.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent.
    • 2-5 years of documented and verifiable sales experience preferably within the hospital OR and physician office setting.
    • Individual must maintain up to date certification of all credentialing information required by each hospital.
    • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
    • Field sales training.
    • Basic proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite products.

     

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

    • Must be able to travel 2-4 overnights per week and be willing to relocate. 
    • Individual must successfully complete in-house product training.
