Use a proactive, strategic, results-oriented approach to sell ultrasound capital equipment in a defined geographical area to new and existing accounts in urology, surgery, anesthesia, and other related markets. Grow sales territory in the Arizona and New Mexico areas.
Develop sales strategy, cultivate sales pipeline, and penetrate competitive accounts in order to
achieve annual, quarterly and monthly sales targets. Forecast and deliver monthly revenue.
Execute strategies and action plans to drive ultrasound sales. Prospect new accounts and manage existing customers. Generate proposals, prepare sales quotations, plan customer meetings, and perform product demonstrations to showcase capabilities of ultrasound products. Forecast monthly sales numbers for territory.
Provide leadership in market analysis and development. Communicate current market intelligence to the business, along with field concerns, issues, and requirements.
Develop long-term customer relationships coupled with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities that immediately satisfy customer needs. Maintain satisfactory after-sale relationships.
Perform other duties and assist with special projects as requested.
Five years or more of related experience selling capital equipment, including customer presentations, price quoting, product demonstration, negotiation, closing, and growing a sales territory.
Experience selling medical devices in an operating room, urology, or related setting. Previous healthcare ultrasound sales experience and selling to managed care / hospital organizations strongly preferred.
Must possess valid driver’s license and ability to work independently as well as with our team and our customers.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and five or more years of experience selling medical capital equipment. Knowledge of healthcare industry and surgical marketplace trends. Ultrasound clinical application and/or product knowledge.
Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization. Demonstrated ability to analyze customer data and develop financially sound sales offers. Proven executive (CX0) relationship building skills in a hospital/healthcare environment.
