Overview

This position is responsible for supporting the global ultrasound FP&A team as well as leading and overseeing all corporate life-cycle pricing. This position will drive efforts to extract, organize, understand and utilize financial data to drive sales and profits. In this role, the analyst will have the opportunity to implement and leverage pricing strategies, price management systems, rules, standards, and guidelines that deliver on financial goals. This role is directly responsible for establishing a business partnerships with all team members involved across the Global Ultrasound team. This responsibility includes developing and implementing advanced analytical techniques, tools, and scorecards to drive business results and ensure fact-based analytic are utilized when making key strategic and tactical decisions. 

 

Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Work cross-functionally and internationally to coordinate the global and corporate order, backlog and revenue reporting.
  • Maintain the global revenue reconciliation to Essbase.
  • Lead implementation of global metrics and key performance indications.
  • Provide full financial support to marketing department
    • Work cross-functionally to analyze the economics and return on investment from key marketing initiatives.
    • Maintain marketing budget.
  • Assist in the Global Ultrasound Profit and Loss roll-up.
  • Working with cross functional teams to analyze global service COGS, margin, ROI, and efficiency.

Pricing:

  • Support the development of pricing strategies and tactics that deliver financial objectives and ROI.
  • Fully implement and utilize business analytic tools available to more fully understand trends in category growth and work with teams to develop strategies to correct or capitalize on these trends.
  • Lead the global development and implementation of best practice life cycle pricing capability by creating and defining the tools, processes, guidelines and standardized reporting. This will help the team define a price strategy, set prices, and execute pricing plans to achieve revenue, gross profit, and market share goals
  • Synthesize and interpret pricing analytic and present recommendations to leadership
  • Ensure timely and actionable ad hoc reports are provided to Manufacturing Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Sales

 

 

 

 

Knowledge and Skills

 

  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Outstanding strategic thinking and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to synthesize facts and insights into concrete, actionable recommendations
  • Proven project leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple concurrent initiatives that have significant financial impact
  • Results driven with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment; equally adept at providing leadership as well as working side by side with the team
  • Must be highly proficient in Excel and have strong systems and presentation skills. SAP and Hyperion experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to research, analyze and model data, identify trends and inconsistencies, create customized reports and prepare executive-ready presentations. ​
  • Proven track record of owning deliverables and proactively working across an organization to “get it done”
  • CRM Experience a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and adequate experience in the industry 4+
