Mechanical and electrical printed circuit board inspection at the assembly and sub-assembly level.
Performs moderately complex mechanical and electrical inspection of printed circuit boards, assemblies, solder workmanship, component identification, and sub-assemblies to determine compliance with established standards, testing procedures, and specifications. Reviews documentation and test results. Uses computers and various software applications. Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
Four years of precision mechanical inspection and layout inspection. Must possess knowledge of inspection equipment, microscopes, and inspection processes and procedures. Must be familiar with Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), IPC workmanship standards, and possess some understanding of ISO 9001 or ISO 13485. Must possess ability to work with computers to input inspection results, access data and inspection documentation, and prepare reports. Manual dexterity, ability to manipulate small objects, and moderate lifting required.
