Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for the planning and implementing project tasks supporting aviation security product development and sustaining engineering efforts.  The candidate should have strong problem solving skills, the ability to learn new technology quickly and adjust to a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work with cross-functional team to drive product success through the definition and successful completion of technical projects.
  • Identifies needed resources for projects and works with resource managers to assign team members to projects.
  • Develops, defines and executes project plans, schedules and deliverables.
  • Manages project execution and drives completion on a day-to-day basis ensuring quality, schedule and budget compliance.
  • Ensures regulatory, contract and customer requirements are completed.
  • Owns and contributes to the completion of project deliverables.
  • Aid with proposal development, contract negotiation and contract compliance.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree in engineering or science and 5 or more years of related experience.
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification or willingness to complete PMI certification
  • Knowledge of TSA, DHS and ECAC processes and procedures is a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Eligible to apply for a US Security Clearance.

 

LOCATION:

  • The position is based at Analogic’s headquarters in Peabody, MA.
